What do I need to speed up my Emachine T3504?

I assume I need to add RAM but what kind and will that do it? It's about a year old and there's not much on it, I have only loaded a few programs. I do have virus protection and it scans all the time. I do clean it regularly...disk clean-up and defrag. What else can I do? I have DSL but pages load slowly...pretty much everything is sluggish and has been since I bought it. (compared to the Dell I have at work).

It has:

Intel Celeron 352 - 302GHz, 533 MHz, 512KB L2 Cache

100GB Hard drive

256 MB SD RAM

I use this computer for email, myspace, yahoo music and watching DVDs.

www.crucial.com will allow you to find out what kind of ram either by manufacturer, or by using their system scanner. After you do that, i recommend buying the actual ram from newegg.com or tigerdirect.com for the best prices.

edit: your computer uses PC3200, so put that in the search at newegg or tiger. I would recommend a total of 1 gb (1024mb).
