Security problem?

my security software has found a virus (dialer generic)and wont remove it . can i find the file myself and delete it ,and how do i do this .i do have asquared dialer protection but it doesnt seem to find the problem ori may be doing somthing wrong as i am a novice.whatis the risk of it dialing premium numbers from my computer.maybe someone can sugest a free easy to use removal tool. thank you in advance

Removal of the generic dialer is extremely easy.... if you have a proper security suite from a reliable vendor then you would simply update the virus definitions, close out of your modem if it's on, and run a complete system scan. Done.

The danger in dialing premium numbers is that you will be charged a lot of money on your phone bill for dialing them..



they are also going to pornogrpahy sites.



and last, they are a sign you are infected and unprotected
