The worm.win32.netsky thing infected my comp, can someone simplify how to get rid of it?

Ok if someone awesome will take some time out to help me, please consider that i am not made of money, i am extremely computer stupid, i have the norton scan thing but it takes forever, and i've read the warning bubbles popping up even as i type this are fake,so i'm ignoring them , there are these icons on my desktop won't go away and the desktop picture is this weird red thing with the words "your privacy is in danger download some protection" or something(its scary) browsers keep popping up and directing to all these (what i'm pretty sure are) bogus protection software and the system restore keeps saying that it can't restore to the chosen date (i've tried it about 4 times)please please help me and give detailed simple instructions because i'm in high school and again don't have much money(parents i mean) and i am not computer savvy,

so long as it is the basic netsky, this will do it.

Click start, run and type in MRT, this will open the malicious software removal tool, run this tool if you have the tool as Netsky is in the database,

if you do not have this tool, then go here,

and down load it, it is totaly free, it should update automaticaly, run the scan for the full system, Netsky should be removed and disposed of.
