I think my System Restore messed up my computer because I never had any problems signing into different messengers until I did this. Skype says it is because of my firewalls... so I disabled them and then even uninstalled my virus protection to see if it at all was causing the problem...no luck... when I uninstalled my virus protection then skype said it was my proxy settings... well I don't use a proxy...AIM says that the connection was lost but I still can surf the web... and although I have been able to sign into Yahoo Messenger a couple of times now I can't. I have uninstalled and reinstalled each Messenger a few times with no luck if there is something in my computer that needs to be checked or unchecked or added or deleted can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you!!!!!

Undo your system restore and try to go back to when things were working correctly.
RadarSync has free downloads and fixes a lot of uninstalled programs; I like it a lot.
Also, try calling your tech line; altho' they told me I needed a new computer when all I had to do was update my speakers and reinstall them thru Toshiba or Radar Sync; can't remember.
