my computer is saying i have "trojan-ace-x"

i have spy sweeper and i ran a full sweep earlier and again now but it is not doing anything about the trojan, can you please tell me how to get rid of it...and i dont want to buy any other virus protection software

You dont have to buy anything just use the right program to get rid of the Trojan.
Are you using spybot ? if not then do so.
Oh boy! Our comp was infected also with the same thing. We ended up trying everything to no avail. Had to call Norton's Security to get rid of the trogan and it cost 150.00. Then had to purchase new Norton's antivirus and install that which was 89.00...good luck. It is apparently contracted through Active X.
