When using Opera 9.21 with Fraud Protection, it said:"The server's name "mail.yahoo.com" does not match the certificate's name "login.yahoo.com". Somebody may be trying to eavesdrop on you."
What should I do? Click "Accept" to login or Click "Cancel".
When I clicked accept, Yahoo's continued to ask me to login again for about 2 or 3 times before open my mail account.
So there is something wrong with Yahoo or Opera or My computer. What should I do?
Opera found problem with Yahoo! Mail certificate when I login .?abtuvurys 2005
Its Opera's problem
mail.yahoo.com is a legit URL so you don't need to worry at all. Its a false positive. This happens and there's nothing to worry about. There are some URLs on legitimate sites that can be falsely 'labelled' as being phishing URLs. mail.yahoo.com is a different URL than login.yahoo.com and perhaps the fraud protection in opera doesn't like 'different' and alternative URLs on some sites.
But since you had login problems too ,so:
Delete private data (cookies and cache) and restart Opera and check. To do this, Click on Tools-%26gt;Delete private data %26gt; Details . Here select to delete cookies and cache.
Check your cookie settings, Click Tools-%26gt;Preferences (Ctrl+F12 or Alt+p)-%26gt;Advanced-%26gt;Cookies. Here make sure 'Accept Cookies' is selected. Also check the site preferences on Yahoomail. To do this, right click the page and select edit site preferences-%26gt; cookies-%26gt; make sure 'accept cookies' is selected. Besides, make sure javascript is enabled. Hit F12 and verify the checkmark against 'enable javascript'.
If the above points didn't work,as a last resort reinstall Opera.
