I had to restore my computer a few days ago. And it was before when i installed the protection. Now its not in add/remove. and when i put in the disk, IT POPS UP WITH A WHITE BOX that says at the top McAfee Sec. Center but at the bottom there are no links nothing PLEASE HELP!

If you have the registration key, please go direct to the URL of McAfee, and download the software direct and install your key. The software will install over the version you had installed before you performed a system restore. Just make sure that version is the same so your key will work.
Otherwise ctc. me and I will give you in depth details how to remove McAfee, if not found in your add/remove. The details will remove the entire program without add/remove.
