Acer aspire complete system restore with back up dvds?

i have an acer aspire 5610z and because i dont have any virus protection or anything like that and i want to get it back to the way it was when i first got it in march 07, beacuse i think i have virus or spyware, it has windows vista on it. when i first got it it asked me if i wanted to create a system recovery disc and i clicked yes and it took 2 dvds to finish burning the backup discs. i still have the discs but cant figure out how to use them. i was able to use once before when i had the same problem a while back but i cant remeber how to do it again, the only thing i do remember is that i had to restart my computer with the 1st dvd inserted and press something at some point and it took me to a screen with windows "xp" logo for some reason even though it is a vista. then i had to insert the 2nd dvd for it to finish

i have an acer aspire 3680-2576and im new to web so i played around lots when i fcked it up.i would hit alt and f10 when acer logo starts and it bring it back to new..i got it in aug.every time i do it i get to start my free 90 days again..i also did one of those but it took 4 dvds..im using AVG free edition i was told its better than pay ones ...so far so good been to alot of xxx sites to ...try it

I have the same laptop as yours, I also made back up of Default Settings and Data. Frankly, I have not used it yet since I have not yet encountered any problem as to PC crash nor corrupted system. If by chance you got a good answer, kindly share it to me if you won't mind. Goodluck!
