Sorry i had to make a new thread, im not sure how to respond. anyways When i get to the step of clicking on "system protection" the window that pops up is system properties, not the "user account control" Im not sure whats up with that.. But to the person above you, my computer info is, Emachine .. windows vista ... Model- T5088 Anything else you need? and the trojan name is something like this... Variant of the Trojan.Win32.Obfuscated.gx (porn adware)?

go to download.com search for AVG free antivirus and use it...
Microsoft, in all there wisdom, save a copy of the virus to the system restore folder when you delete it. so it's still there.
you might be able to go to system in the control panel and turn off system restore from there if not this works. (not sure for vista sorry)
to deactivate system restore (you will loose all your restore points) go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.
open system restore and on the left there should be blue writing, to change the setting or somethink like that. click it.
