My Internet Explorer isn't working right, what can I do?

I have a problem with Internet Explorer on my computer and I don't know what I need to do about it. I have Windows Vista and I took the Norton software that came with it off and put McAfee as I have heard its a better program and better protection.

Ever since I did that though I can't do much on internet explorer. Everything works except for a few links here and there. They don't do anything at all. Example on youtube, I can click links to view videos but I can't log out. When I click log out it doesn't do anything at all.

The videos on youtube don't work either. When I click to view a video I get the following message:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Now everything worked fine before I took Norton off and put McAfee on. I can't even get McAfee to open so I can look at the settings. It opens and I get the white screen of death.

try uninstalling McAfee using the Add/Remove Programs. see if that fixes your problem. if if doesn't then you might want to try reinstalling IE...(or better yet install Firefox!!!)

McAfee is blocking javascript and/or plug ins.

There should be something in the McAfee console to enable it for specific sites.
