I hadn't run any scans as far as my Norton 360 goes in awhile, so the green bar at the top of my webpage finally durned red and said that my active protection was off and I was trying to fix it and I ended up clicking for my computer to be scanned to fix all the problems. Long story short, I didn't realize that the pc tuneup section was deleting my history and temporary internet cache and now several sites I was looking at today for gift ideas are gone. I cannot for the life of me remember what they were and I just had planned on looking them back up in my history but now they're gone. Is there any way to retrieve my history? I didn't see it in the recyle bin and system restore is out of the question because it's not working, and the last restore set point would be before my internet browsing today. Any thoughts? It's not the end of the world if I can't find the history, but it would just be a big help because as I said, I was looking at specific sites for gifts. Thanks.
Accidentally deleted history w/Norton 360's pc tuneup, can I get it back?pop up blocker
No. Unless your Norton's tune-up has an "undo" feature, I know of no way short of doing a low level undelete which would be an absolute pain in trying to undelete temp files.
