transfering files...?

hmm.. im trying to copy a file from my computer to my hp.. through the memorycard.. but whenever i "right click the file and click to send to thr momory card.. i keep getting the message.." cannot copy, the file is write protected.remove the write-protection or use another disk"... wad am i to do..... help me out..thanks..;)

You have made your SD card write protect there would be a small slide on plastic clip to remove write protect, same way as Floppy disk used to have.

remove it and you would be fine.

Is it SD memory? Some memory cards have a small pale grey or white plastic piece on the side, this is the write protection, if you have it move it to the opposite direction and retry. :)

First thing to do, make sure the file isn't open in another program
lol is there a button on your memory card? i think you pushed it down so it's write protected...... just push it up......
